Mom's Journal

I made this for my mom for her Bible Study Fellowship Classes, that are about to start in two weeks. All the paper used for this journal is SU's Brocade Background. The ribbon is both beachfront and theater. I'm still really unsure about this journal, I "like" it (meaning its ok) but for me it's not perfect enought to give to my mom! I know she'll love it, she'd love a white sheet of paper with a stick figure.

CC128

So I know I said I wouldn’t upload another RIW card BUT I HAD TOO! You see it was very upset with the fact that I have been over looking it lately :) The background it stamped with my brand new “sanded” background stamp. I finally broke open my package of groovy guava designer paper. I really disliked groovy guava when I first saw it but I have to admit it's becoming one of my fav-o-rite colors.

Truly Apple Cider

I made this card for Beate's weekend sketch challenge. This card WAS supposed to be a 4.5x4.5 but I accidently cut it to 4.25x4.5. The card base is soft sky, the polka dot strip from apple cider measures 4.25x 1.75. The river rock strips is 3.25x 2.25 and the flower strip is 3x2. For the main image ( 2x2.5) I took the matching flower stamp from "True Friend" and inked the flower soft sky and the stem river rock. The sentiment is inked with close to cocoa and the sponging is blue bayou and soft sky. For a little added flair I added the photo anchor from the hodgepodge hardware box.

SUPPLIES: stamps: true friend, absolutley fabulous Paper: river rock, soft sky, apple cider Ink: blue bayou, soft sky, river rock, close to cocoa Accessories: hodgepodge hardware.

Girl - Armoire Album

I bought this at the scrapbooking convention when it was in Arlington a few months ago and just now got around to putting it together. This was SUPER easy to put together, all the tags were pre-cut. I highly recommend going to their website and looking around http://shopquickquotes.com/

Princess Clipboard

I made this for my cousin Hailey last christmas. I started out by painting the clipboard brown, making memories-chocolate, I then added the bohemia rub ons; the crown paper is also by bohemia. For the "H" I added a few of the left over rub-ons and then embossed it with Ultra thick embossing enamel 3x's. Stuck in the the freezer for a minute then pulled it out and started craking it. For the sponging I used Jim Holtz distress ink in worn lipstick. All the ribbon is from Making Memories.

Porcelain Spotlight

I'm still unsure about this card. I think I should have placed the brad's a little lower, but oh well. The card measures 5.25x5.25. The base is stamped with the spots stamp from the polka dots and paisley stamp set. For the main image I inked the flower and happiness with blue bayou, the stems and leaves are certainly celery. I sponged River rock around the edges just because I felt like it needed " a little something" and I figured brown would be to dark. In the center of both flowers I added a drop of stickles.
SUPPLIES: Stamps: In the spotlight, simply said, warm words, Polka dots and paisley Paper: porcelain prints, very vanilla, certainly celery, blue bayou Ink: Blue bayou, river rock, certainly celery Accessories: Silver brads, stickles.

Kylie

I took some pictures of my little princess today as she was swimming.

Sparkle

I'm sorry this pic is sooo dark! Again, I know you can't tell in this pic but the chocolate base is stamped with the linen background stamp. The coral rectangle is stamped with the fine lace background stamp. I also stamped the lined bg onto the main image using bashful blue ink. I stamped off twice before stamping it on the focal point. I used irredscent ice for all the glittery goodness :)

5-in-1-template box

There's a great tutorial on how to make this box at SCS; http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/fiveinonetemplatebox.php I used blue bayou card stock for the bottom of the box and porcelain prints for the top. For some odd reason my Friskars cutter has never cut a straight line so I always have to "rough" up the edges of anything I cut to make it look straight. For the tag I stamped the "happy day" stamp, from the taggers dozen set, in blue bayou and added some stickles to the"flames". I hope ya'll like it!
