Embracing Birthday...

ah, you've got to love uplines that have EVERY set SU has ever sold!! I borrowed her embrace life set to make this card. I watercolored the main image again; I know you can't tell in the picture but there's a soft sky "shadow" around the flower. The designer paper is SU's ginger blossom. Even though it looks like the base of my card is a lime color its actually river rock. The next layer is groovy guava.

It's lovely. I haven't seen the color in person but I know I will LOVE it. I love the line of brads and the layered punches.

I really like your card. The crimped paper is a nice addition of testure..haven't used that in a while.

River Rock has always been "green" to me - isn't that funny how it really "greened" up in the photo? So lovely - great job on the coloring and I just love this set with the Ginger Blossom papers! :)
